Everything you need to order the perfect custom glass table top — from measuring your base to choosing the right thickness, tint and edge finish.
How to Measure
Measure the full width and depth of your table base in millimetres. For a protective cover, add 6–12mm overhang on each edge. Always give us the finished glass size you want, not the base size.
Choosing the Right Thickness
6mm suits decorative covers and small tables. 10mm is the standard for dining and coffee tables. 12mm is recommended for large tops and heavy-use surfaces for rigidity and safety.
Glass Types & Tints
Clear float is the everyday choice. Low-iron gives a crystal-clear, edge-light look. Frosted diffuses light for a soft finish. Bronze and grey tints add warmth or a modern tone.
Edge Finishes
Flat polished is the clean standard. Beveled adds a decorative angled edge. Pencil polished gives a rounded, safe feel for high-traffic tables. Seamed is a cost-effective light finish.
Safety & Tempering
All our table tops are tempered for safety — up to 5× stronger than ordinary glass and breaking into small, safe pieces. Tempering is recommended for any table used by children or in public spaces.
