Automatic Entrances

Automatic Doors for Quick Shops & Forecourts

Twelve automatic entrance designs — bi-parting, single sliding, telescopic, swing and bi-fold — framed or frameless, configured in the full safety-glass range and specified for high-traffic fuel-station quick shops.

Forecourt

Entrances Built for the Quick Shop

Fuel forecourts are the hardest working entrances in the country: constant traffic, wind, dust, wet floors and power interruptions. These are the framed and frameless entrances we specify for them.

Sensor activated

Radar or push-button activation opens the entrance before the customer reaches the glass.

Built for wind loading

Deep head boxes, heavy-duty tracks and floor guides specified for exposed forecourt elevations.

Battery backup

Optional battery backup keeps the entrance working through load shedding and power failures.

Safety certified

Safety light curtains or presence sensors on both sides, with hold-open times set on site.

Framing

Framed or Frameless

Every design in the range can be built either way. Which one suits your entrance depends on exposure, cycle count and how much of the shopfront you want the glass to be.

Framed automatic entrance

Framed

A powder-coated or anodised aluminium frame carries the glass, the operator and the track. The frame protects the glass edges, takes the wind loading on an exposed forecourt and is the practical choice for service doors that see thousands of cycles.

  • Frame face and colour set per entrance
  • Laminated or toughened safety glass
  • Operator, track and sensors concealed in the head
Frameless automatic entrance

Frameless

The leaves are the glass — 10, 12 or 15 mm toughened safety glass with polished edges and butt-jointed meeting stiles, carried on a recessed head track and floor guide. The shopfront reads as one continuous sheet of glass.

  • Toughened safety glass with polished edges
  • Recessed head track and floor guide only
  • Best in a sheltered or deep-canopy entrance

How to Measure

Measure Your Door Opening

A quick guide to the dimensions we need to cut your door to size.

WH

W = opening width · H = opening height

4 measurements to get right

  1. 1

Measure the structural opening width at three points (top, middle, bottom) and use the smallest.

  2. 2

Measure the opening height on the left, centre and right — again use the smallest.

  3. 3

Note the handing: view from outside and record which side the hinges sit on.

  4. 4

Measure the wall thickness so we can size the frame correctly.

Always measure twice in millimetres. If your opening is out of square, give us the smallest figure so the door fits without forcing.

Ready to specify your automatic entrance?

Tell us the opening size, framed or frameless, and whether it serves a forecourt quick shop — we'll quote the entrance, the operator and the safety devices within 24 hours.
